GA-6278 7GG- "Lynn" Cashmere Blend Military Rib Mock Neck Crew Sweater

Known as the U.S Navy Sweater, this 3x1 military rib sweater did travel the world with different armies adding the shoulder patch here, patch pocket there, but always the same 3x1 U.S Navy tight tension rib knit. Always worn with the military issue peacoat. Then it was spotted at New York Soho Subway circa late 70's. Bank presidents started wearing it with white sneakers on a casual Fridays... Hollywood A List made it their own. So much so for an athletic rib-stitch sweater that made it that much easier to rig the sails, and withstand the chill on the carrier deck. Ours, in 70% wool and 30% cashmere, is knitted densely enough to immunize you from chilly northern winds, as well as from rough wave spray. 

Soft wool 70% merino / 30% cashmere blend 7GG luxury yarn. 3x1 classic Military rib stitch. Set in style sleeve, masculine tapered fit, 7 GG densely packed rib stitch. Fold-over mock neck collar. Soft compact 400 grams stitch sweater. Super warm, soft, and luxury winter layering piece.
